The following are notes about caring about yourself, healing and recovery, caring about others, and civility. I had a chance to see a visit from PR PSN and use the warm line in Long Beach, CA, and to use the warm line and do Spanish bible study from PR PSN in Culver City Santa Monica area, CA, and to receive two whopping hours of helpfulness and compassion and understanding on Mondays in Norwalk, CA, from PR PSN and since I am no longer on Facebook posting relentlessly every day, and since I share all almost all of the things I love on this here blog, where it says I've done that since 2010, then. Here. The awesomeness of a Project Return, from notes I've taken when they've cheered me up, and cheered me on.

Project Return
Peer Support Network

As Peers, people with
similar shared lived
experience, we practice
the following set of
operational values in all
of our interactions.

Hope.
We hold the belief
that things can get
better. We never give
up and we educate
people that no matter
how bad things seem,
if you take one step
at a time, things will
change for the better.

Empowerment.
We enhance personal
growth and inner strength
while motivating, inspiring
and guiding ourselves
and peers into action.
We encourage others
to reach their full potential
by allowing them to find
their internal stregths.

Recovery.
We believe that individuals
who have suffered from
mental health challenges
can go on to lead successful
fulfilling lives.

We see individuals grow
when they seek out
information and utilize
the resources offered.
Individuals regain their
sense of self by taking
control of the things
which previously seemed
beyond their control.

Mutuality
Regardless of our job
title, we are all equal
and thus treat each other
with dignity and respect.
We respect the validity
of every individual's
experiences, thoughts,
opinions, and feelings,
even if they are different
than our own.

Integrity.
We practice honesty
at all times- personally
and professionally. We
operate using moral
judgement, character
and leadership values
and do things in a
fashion of respect
and professionalism.

The reading of the following
ground rules will help
create safety within
this shared space:

What is said here stays
here
Avoid crosstalk
Stay openminded
Create a safe environment
Use respectful language
Turn off cellphones/
put on vibrate
Respect cultural beliefs
Participation is a choice
Being mindful of all

101 ARTISAN VEGAN MEAT RECIPES TO COOK, SHARE & SAVOR
FIELD ROAST

by Tommy McDonald

*******
+*(.

Since I was in the third grade, I heard that if everybody became a vegetarian then we could grow enough food so that nobody ever need starve.

Also, defeating cancer might mean less meat and more vegetables might help you.

I don't have a kitchen that I can use. But I do love reading food cookbooks, as well as hearing of and possibly skimming computery geeky computery codey computery languagey type cookbooks.

This 2017 success is a cookbook on how to make meats. Meats...made out of wheat protein and vegetables.

FIELD ROAST is known by vegans as sellers of these vegan meats. But the vegan ethos is so urgent, that they thought they would sell these cookbooks which share how to make their products! Ingenious.

I used to go to a Vietnamese Chinese restaurant near Torrance that had such vegan meats.

If you can eat a vegan meal a day, and eat animal meats two days less out of a seven day week... that, even, could help feed a hungry world.

I recommend this book all the way! :D

Let's save the world while we're at it. Twenty bucks for this great vegan cookbook.

Is an earthquake greater than 1.5 really a small earthquake?

Why would it be said to have "earthquake drought" when last year today the Channel Islands of California had one of 5.3 magnitude last year 2018 to this day also April 5th?

Notice also that the media made "earthquake drought" up on April 4th after the Yorba Linda quake, after the Fontana one of last week, one in San Diego area, what were they thinking? Why are they not thinking? Are they from California? Why conflate it with use of the word "drought" and California's need and ability to manage water resources effectively?

If Hawaii of May last year had one of 6.5 magnitude at noon in broad daylight, just as Alaska this week has numerous from aftershocks of Russia's 7.0 this week, and Russia's 7.0 last week, did Alaska's 7.1 of last year not bring ratings to news/media-sellers like Hawaii's travails?

God bless you, and keep you, safe, concerned, alert, with a month's worth of food and water and medicine and medical supplies.
