My ancestor took off his head because he doesn't believe in slavery, but because of Spain the Philippines since the 1500's became primarily the only Asian country to be Christian, by way of Catholicism.
I am as Dimataga the direct line to Datu Lapu Lapu by virtue of blood, and the closest link in blood is after Dimataga, Igot whom I am related to by blood and marriage.
In Mactan, which is in Cebu area of Region 7/the Visayas, is like a thirty foot statue of my direct recent ancestor, Datu Lapu Lapu.
Basically all Filipinos are royal by Muslim heritage, and ethnically I am Chinese and Spanish where most are Malay. But Filipinos are most known as the Asians who intermarry, and those Filipinos tend to pick Caucasians and in order of popularity they are 1. Irish, 2. Australian, and 3. German.
As in, their dads are from there, their moms are born in the Philippines, and they go to Ireland, Australia, and Germany, and might be born from those places and live there.
It is said orally that royalty by moderness is election. As in, if your family is in the Malacanang, then they rule the Philippines.
My family came in as most recently the wife of President Garcia, who was a pharmacist, and who is Dimataga, also.
My grandfather worked for the Malacanang as a lawyer, Lorenzo Dimataga II, Esq. He helped, was a civil servant, and was a good friend to President Magsaysay, President Garcia, President Marcos, President Macapagal, President Ramos, etc.
Also in consideration is that I may never, never have internet again!
If I weren't dying from more than 16 years of "medications" which caused my epilepsy, lupus, regular hemorrhage, and heart failure, I really probably wouldn't be saying this.
