Pres. D. Trump's administration and leader, as well as House Speaker Paul Ryan, have talked about how the current government is against separation of parents from children who cross the border illegally to immigrate into the United States.
Since it is a crime to illegally enter the United States, due process fits specifically into this illegal behavior, which results in certain consequences and processing by government officials and police officers.
