kay_mulanWhen I turned thirty five I went on a pass to check out this pet store I'd been going to for a dozen years. But when we got there, we found out that it had closed, and all the small animals and beautiful gorgeous birds were gone.
I am someone who signed up for California Covered and the national "Obamacare" first wave March 18th of 2014 deadline.
But I've had my own personal family doctor that I would pay forty bucks to see each time I needed a check up, or help with pneumonia, or the need to have blood tests done.
Since hysteria seems to be blanketing the nation I will say, no, it is not illegal to "not" "have" insurance before the aforementioned date, to "just" have a doctor paid out of pocket. But after a dozen years of doing this, a hospital commitment led to people who are supposed to be working for me to write me up as somebody with "no insurance" even if I had been enrolled, name entire, in both official "ObamaCare" and my home state's registry as well.
Sometimes things just don't make sense. Working at it is hard when people don't want to understand.
Things change, but. It can still get better, yes, even for *all* of us.
Knowledge is power, and people are our greatest resource. Let's not lose it, let's not lose each other.
