kay_mulanSome times when we have no wheelbarrow of chickens we sit down at our table with a cup of hot water in a cool, gentle night and think of good things.
Maybe some times it is a cup of cold water that we give to a friend in a hot day, where the birds are too stifled by the heat baking up off the concrete in waves, as we prepare to return to the end of summer days into a blissful autumn.
I am thankful to God for the friends I have made that make it possible for me to subsist on their kindnesses, a multitude of them, day after day in the quest to participate in the human race.
To run through the marathon of life in a sprint can be a lonely adventure in the life of a rabbit, mayhaps.
The turtle is sure and steady and there are many fine stops along the way.
