Lesson 6 Chapter 3 :highlighting:
Feb. 5th, 2020 01:54 pm"Caution in Interpreting Blood Tests
When you see an abnormality on a blood test, it has to be interpreted in light of the symptoms of the pet. In some cases, interpretation is easy. In others, the test may have to be repeated, or additional, more specific tests might be required to make a diagnosis. Also, remember that the published ranges for each test differ, depending on the age of the pet and whether it is pregnant, obese, or malnourished. Normal ranges are also only accurate 95% of the time. In other words, there is a 1 in 20 chance that a number could be out of range. Don't overinterpret."
