I had as a child taken care of seven litters of puppies, all of whom were sold before 6 months old. I just mixed NIDO in a bowl with water to feed them, with spoonful by spoonful! I also fed each of them at least one Yakult. But taking care of my cockatiels for many years (almost eleven) is a bit different than taking care of puppies and kittens. My German Shepherd I was allowed to keep until she was two years old, where she was also summarily sold.
