I believe that breeders should consider thyroid supplements (levothyroxin sodium) treatments for b-ches which they believe have good traits otherwise. As somebody who has never bred dogs but had owned some puppies it's always a joy to have more puppies, so maybe the breeder could link religious/spiritual ethics into helping the b-ch breed with help from medications. Pointing to personal experience, I myself found out as a senior in high school that I couldn't donate my blood to the Red Cross because I had Hepatitis B and Anemia, and when I took some iron pills for some time and had self-injected interferon treatments I was able to normalise my liver enzymes and make a dent on "permanent" anemia. So since humans can have medications it is wonderful that some medications can help some dogs. Unfortunately these conditions also more than fifteen years later knocked out my thyroid, and so I can attest that levothyroxine has helped my thyroid act healthy and I do have to battle things like depression and lethargy and weight gain with normal sized food portions, but if I can feel better with help, so too can dogs with good traits besides hypothyroid be able to have with medications the help to induce pregnancy, birthing, and healthy puppies.
