Sep. 30th, 2016 04:20 pmSo there might be crickets in being a Christian in fandom, myself being, who used to eat slash fiction for, like, almost a decade, but.
I think the way to go about it is to just live in a Gen universe, write Gen fic mostly, it's pretty hard to find the good stuff when your vacuum existence means, for me, not really interacting with anybody in fandom anymore. But I still want to make vids and I still want to watch vids and although for medias I haven't had regular cable watching since 2010 (I also don't watch many movies) it's fine.
I'm not up on Entertainment Weekly type stuff too much, but pop culture being what it is it is not so much on what trickles down to meme in front of my face but I just retained my interests and I still go online but stick to primarily YouTube and fixing up this here blog.
Hi. :waves shyly:
But, fandom, since Dreamwidth is the haven I've pretty much always dreamt of, minus the thirty people I may have chatted on ICQ like a couple times a long time ago, or the three hundred people I had on my AIM list also a long time ago, anyways, here I meant I am just sharing thoughts knowing I have been on Diaryland and I have been on Livejournal and I am not so much an internet expert as instead someone who really likes to share stuff I like with any people who may find similar points of interest.
Again, hello.
I really love the Internet. Thank you to people on YouTube even if they didn't do the blackout, and thank you LJ for having been a nice place for me since 2001, and thank you Dreamwidth for allowing me my small point of space, my "tuldok" so to speak.
I got a chance to share some songs from the Buffy Musical in front of a live audience recently. It was pretty nifty. I'm always just so grateful when a couple of people really enjoy it enough to clap back. :)
