There is, really, checkable fact of devil worship leading to child sacrifice.
I believe that plants and animals should not be hurt, either.
I believe that my belief in Jesus * does * protect me from any and all kinds of harm.
I know my belief system is consistent, and I do not test God for signs, but I know that God is real.
As a survivor of rape and fire, and war, God speaks in my heart and tells me to be patient.
Where one may not be able to understand, God speaks in their hearts if they are well meaning, and can believe in Jesus the Christ.
If your heart is open, then you know you are part of the elect.
If you go against scriptures on purpose, then you know that you shun God's gift on purpose, and when people prove themselves to be, then you can know that those who mean you harm are hurtful and that is never justified, or justifiable.
